Rajecke Teplice is among the most attractive and famous of Slovak spas, being like a pearl surrounded by a wreath of coniferous and deciduous forests. To the east it is bordered by a panorama of the magnificent Malá Fatra mountain range, with the bizzare rock formation of the dolomite limestone of the Strážov peaks directly over the spa to the west.
