Outrigger Waikiki and Outrigger Reef announce 2006 Romance Packages

If your romantic dreams include visions of tropical indulgence -- the sound of surf rolling onto white sands, rich macadamia nut oils massaged into your skin, a frolicking sail on warm briny ocean waves, or a bit of bubbly at sunset -- reality can be as easy as taking advantage of a romance package with all of those pleasurable goodies built in.

Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach and Outrigger Reef on the Beach, both located directly on Hawaii’s famed Waikiki Beach, have announced romance packages for 2006 that include attractive value-added amenities for lovers of all ages.

Both packages include champagne on arrival with keepsake flutes, daily breakfast for two, a $100 credit at Serenity Spa, and a choice of ocean activities: either a catamaran ride for two, two canoe rides for two, or a two-hour surfboard rental and 15-minute land lesson for two. Those are in addition to three nights deluxe accommodations at one of two hotels whose ground floors literally flow out onto Waikiki Beach, immortalized in films, books and songs as one of the most romantic spots on the planet.

In addition to the romance package, guests of both hotels can also renew their commitments of love at a beautiful Hawaiian Vow Renewal Ceremony, held every Tuesday and Friday morning on the beach near the Outrigger Reef. Led by a Hawaiian kahu (priest), the complimentary ceremony includes chanting, traditional hula dance and song, a recital of vows in the Hawaiian language, and a commemorative certificate. Space is limited, so couples should sign up at their respective hotel’s concierge desk by 3:00 p.m. on the day prior.

The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach Romance Package is priced at US$1,210 for an ocean view room, and US$1,570 for a deluxe oceanfront room. The Outrigger Reef on the Beach Romance Package is US$756 for a city view room, and US$1,116 for an ocean-view room.

Package prices are valid for three nights from December 22, 2005, through December 21, 2006, and are on a per-room, double occupancy basis; subject to availability & change. Restrictions may apply.
