Lake Bogoria game reserve is only 5 minutes drive from the hotel. The alkaline lake is tinted jade although the shallow waters are often blanketed with a broad band of pink as thousands of flamingoes gather to feed on algae. In flight, these are a matchless spectacle set against the dramatic Eastern Wall of the Great Rift Valley.

The area abounds with a large variety of animals and birds making it an ornithologist’s paradise, arguably the best in East Africa. Visitors may also see the shy greater Kudu, the majestic Antelope with majestic spiral horns. Other animals resident there include the Cheetah, Impala, Grants Gazelle and the Waterbuck among others.

The brilliant facilities available include 23 private cosy cottages and the only natural heated health spa in Kenya. The spa pool promises relaxation, total unwinding and a healthful experience.

Also available is a cold water pool, beautiful site for road parties and of course, a variety of mouth watering dishes.
